From Jonathan Price:Immanuel is a great school with teachers who are dedicated to the growth of every young person. I enjoyed the meaningful relationships that I developed with my teachers as they encouraged me to succeed in all areas of life. Immanuel grows great young people, nurturing them to be everything God created them to be. I am very proud to say that the first 11 years of my school life were at Immanuel Christian School. | ![]() |
Parent's perspective:
What dollar value do you put on:
· education that positions God at the centre of existence on a day by day basis, and compliments what is taught at
home and church?
· education and encouragement that empowers parents in their God-given role as the first educators?
· wholesome friendships for your children that stand the test of time after school years are over?
· having teachers that care and pray for your children?
· an environment where children are encouraged to try the untried; their best efforts will be affirmed?
· high academic standards?
All the above have been our experience over the 21 years we have been associated with Immanuel Christian School. Our family has been truly blessed. Thanks, Immanuel.

From Yvonne ter Veen: I spent all 13 years of my school education at Immanuel Christian School. Without the input of Christian teachers and friends in the environment that Immanuel offers, alongside years of Bible teaching with each lesson and a mission trip in year 13, I doubt I would be a Christian today, and no, I'm not just saying that to win students for the school. The years I spent there built a strong foundation for my faith, and the friends I made at Immanuel will be life long, I have no doubt. Educationally, Immanuel prepared me very well for university and I have recently finished a Bachelor of Health Science (Medical Imaging) and obtained full time employment as a radiographer at Auckland Hospital. My studies at Immanuel and the work ethic that was taught to me there stood me in good stead for further learning and I plan to take those skills on into post graduate education later in life. | ![]() |
Success at Immanuel:
By way of feedback, in relation to the tremendous grounding our kids receive at Immanuel that appear to set them up well for if/when they do enter a secular school, I would like to relate my daughters situation in attending Green Bay High this year.
I have just attended parent/teacher interviews last night who have had nothing but praise for her respect, nature, hard work and contribution in class.
When she first started last term, obviously the school was in a situation that they did not really know in what stream she fitted, so placed her in mid-stream classes. Now, we know that at Immanuel she was not an exceptional student, but was best described as steady.
However, it soon became apparent that the mid-stream in 2-3 subjects were not up to the level she had obtained while at Immanuel and subsequently she has now been moved up to a high stream in several subjects.
This can be attributed to the exceptional talent, hard work and caring professionalism portrayed by all teachers at Immanuel and just shows that a student that may not necessarily 'set the world on fire' at Immanuel, will more than likely exceed expectations at secular schools!
Just thought you might like a little feedback which enforces the great job you are all doing!!
God bless.
