Statistics Speak Loud and Clear of Immanuel's Academic Success
NCEA standards can be 'Achieved', 'Achieved with Merit', or 'Achieved with Excellence'. Overall results are awarded an 'endorsement' if the results are of sufficient quality.
- A level 1 Merit endorsement means 50 or more level 1 credits have been gained at Merit or Excellence standard.
- A level 1 Excellence endorsement means 50 or more level 1 credits have been gained at Excellence standard.
- A student gaining 80 level 1 credits but with fewer than 50 of them gained at Merit or Excellence standard will gain a level 1 NCEA certificate, but it will not be endorsed.
- A student gaining fewer than 80 level 1 credits does not acquire a level 1 NCEA certificate.
Click on the links below to see the graphs which highlight the Merit and Excellence endorsements awarded to Immanuel students over the last six years compared to the national average. We have had one year where our performance was substandard (2005) but the clear trend is for our students to achieve higher than the national average.
